Hello, and welcome
to Newsworthy Online! It's a pleasure to have you along. There is plenty
of content on this site, but please be aware that, like most Internet
sites, this is only the base. There are many things not included yet which
are in the works (including an extended photo album) and ideas still to
come in the future. This simple link will have the most recent updates
and where to find them on this site. Thanks for coming, and as always,
feel free to drop me an E-Mail to let me know your thoughts -- additionally,
please take a moment to leave a note in the GuestBook. Take care! |

Newswatch 3 may be gone, but the memories linger. A photo
album is just starting (really; we only have a few photos online
right now) but the plan is to add shots that will document the newscast's
10-year history.
Also, the Fun Stuff category has a couple
of pics from New Year's 2002... nothing fancy, but worth a look!

George Orwell warned us in his book, 1984. Now, as the United States

A roller coaster accident at Six Flags New England leaves plenty
of unanswered questions. But the catch here is that it's Six Flags
itself that refuses to talk to the media. What could it possibly be
hiding? Newsworthy Online investigates...
and it's in the Rants section. |

It's time to check out the careless corporate mentality again. You've
got to see the grammatically incorrect envelope
that was mailed to over 200,000 households in the Central MA region.
It's in the Rants section, so be sure to check

Tonight a significant joke in the movie Office Space becomes
effectively meaningless. Starting at 1:01 am today, TGI Friday's wait
staff will no longer wear FLARE. The uniform is being replaced with
a sharper, slick black polo. Those garnishes that adorn the suspenders
on existing employees must be shed in favor of the new look. This
is a company-wide mandate. |

Lots going on here in the Bay State -- two very momentous events
happening this past Thursday. First, I have finally gone broadband
with a high-speed cable connection. Newsworthy Online has finally
entered the year 2001. Plus, on the same day, I did the first live
shot of my career. So it seemed fitting to devote a page to "Things
You're Apt to Hear at a Live Shot." Enjoy, and keep the happy-talk
coming. |

The Friends section has been updated in
the Newsworthy Online Photo Album. There
are some new additions to it as well -- are you on the list now? Find
out! More updates to this page are still on the way ... as the entire
photo section gradually converts to the new Newsworthy Online look. |

Newsworthy Online presents another piece of investigative journalism:
Mad Cow Disease. This report documents the
potential epidemic involving people who may unknowingly be infected
with the human form of Mad Cow Disease. Plus,
is the United States 100% Mad Cow Disease Free as the government and
meat industry would like you to believe? And why are the reports of
the disease only showing up in the European and Canadian mainstream
press? Could there be economic pressures on U.S. media companies to
create a news blackout on the issue? These topics and more are in
this story which may well expose you to a situation you might otherwise
want to blissfully ignore. It's in the Rants
section of Newsworthy Online! |

It is long overdue for a Newsworthy Online update. My apologies
to the loyal -- working full time has, needless to say, taken its
toll on my leisure time. However, that has not stopped me from bringing
you the latest update. The photos section
is in the middle of a revamping. There are new categories including
birthdays, graduation,
and fun stuff. And for the existing areas
that still have the old-Newsworthy Online look, as new photos are
added to those categories, they will be updated into the current
format.
All you anchorspeak fans, there are
new entries to the ongoing log. Keep your happy-talk coming!

In "Better Late than Never" news, it was announced Monday
(albiet two months late) that my feature report (done alongside
Jeff Saperstone) on Lego Building at Cornell University won Second
Place in the SPJ Region 1 "Television Feature" category.
Congratulations to Ben Simmoneau who won national recognition for
his spot on the Cornell Vet School Open House/PETA Protests, and
to Adam Aurand who also took national recognition for his coverage
of the Sodexho-Marriot sit-in on the Ithaca College campus late
last year.
This is why news organizations hire Ithaca College graduates.
