Bush Wows Workers With Refund

(Worcester) -- In yet another blow to his struggling presidency, George W. Bush has ticked off an entire sector of the working class.

A photographer at a local television station received his check in the mail. It was valued at one-dollar.

"Apparently, President Bush believes that a one-dollar refund check is going to help stimulate the economy. He's wrong. I'm going to tack this check to my wall."

President Bush refused to comment on the individual case, and only added, "My advisers assure me that all the refund checks add up."

He continued, "The way I see it, some refund is better than no refund, and that's more than he would have gotten if Clinton were still in office."

The photographer who received the check sadly noted, "I can't even jump on the bandwagon and buy an American flag for a buck. That's no way to promote unity."
