This is just outside of Cody, Wyoming on the one route in to Yellowstone National Park. This will be the last break we take for a long drive in...

...and once inside the park, the scars of a forest fire from a decade ago remain...

So here are some lazy animals. You pass by all sorts when driving through the interior routes.

And here the bison just cross right in front of you. They really don't care. As one looks at the blob of fat crossing the street in front of his or her car, this thought immediately comes to mind: What is the purpose of life? Is it to eat, drink, poop, reproduce and sleep? If so, there's not much purpose. And frankly, this reminds me of a lot of humans I know.

And this picture needs to speak for itself. When I figure out enough HTML, I am going to add a form here so you can E-Mail me what you think the dog is saying right now. So many possibilities....

Another possible DobNoar campus site. (Just kidding!!) Anyway, more bison. Lots of bison. And the beautiful landscape. Breath taking.

And here Yellowstone National Park has a Grand Canyon of its own...

Of course I'm the center of attention in this picture, but look beyond my shoulder... a gorgeous waterfall!

Well it's will either admiring the waterfall, or wondering if he'll be able to find the cell phone he just threw over the ledge. (A fight with Sarah?!)

Hey, I liked that picture above so much I decided to have another one with the falls.

And here's the world-renowned Old Faithful who was ... late.

Ok, so as we tried to exit from Yellowstone out of the south entrance, we were stopped because a wildfire had just broken out on the edge of the park. As you might recall, there were some really nasty forest fires in the summer of 2000 and we were witness to a couple of the smaller one. Here is the staging area inside the park.

And more of the staging area.

And more sights of the horizon as we continued our travels in a more southwesterly direction....
